Measurements

·       Darling Duckling: 8 ½” x 5 ½”

·       Basic Black: 3 ¾” x 5”, scrap

·       Basic White: 4” x 5 ¼”, 3 9/16” x 4 13/16”, scraps

         

Instructions:

1.     Score Darling Duckling card base at 4 ¼” on the 8 ½” side.  Fold the card base in half and flatten the fold with a bone folder. Emboss the 3 9/16” x 4 13/16” piece of Basic White with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere to the Basic Black layer and adhere this to the card front.

2.     Stamp 5 images of honeycomb on scraps of Basic White card stock using Black ink. Color some of the honeycomb cells with a Light Darling Duckling Blends marker. Cut images out with scissors. Adhere honeycomb to card front with multipurpose liquid glue.

3.     Stamp 2 bees on scraps of Basic White card stock using Daffodil Delight and Black ink, bees are going different directions. Stamp antenna and wings on scraps of Basic White card stock and punch out pieces with the Bee Builder Punch.  Color the wings with Wink of Stella. Adhere the wings and antenna to the bees with multipurpose liquid glue. Adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

4.     Stamp “hello” on a scrap of Basic White with Black ink and die cut with the heart shape on the Bee Builder Punch. Punch out another heart shape from a scrap of Basic Black card stock. Adhere the white heart to the black heart, leaving a small layer of black exposed at the top. Adhere the heart to the upper right card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere bees to the card front as shown on the card sample. Add rhinestones to some of the honeycomb pieces.

5.     Decorate remaining piece of Basic White card stock as desired and adhere to the inside of the card.
