If you have lots of scraps of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin' Up!, they are perfect for quick, beautiful cards and paper crafts. Here are several creative ways to use those smaller pieces so nothing goes to waste 

1. Striped Scrap Card
Cut scraps into strips (½"–1").
Adhere them side-by-side on cardstock to create a colorful panel.
How to finish the card:
- Mount the strip panel on a coordinating cardstock layer
- Add a stamped sentiment
- Tie linen thread or ribbon across the panel

This works great with mixed patterns from the same DSP pack.
2. Scrap Patchwork Card
Cut scraps into squares (1"–2").
Arrange them like a quilt pattern on a card front.
Ideas:
- 9-square grid
- Checkerboard pattern
- Offset brick pattern
Add a die-cut shape or sentiment in the center.
3. Banner or Flag Card
Cut scraps into small banners.
Steps:
- Cut strips about ¾" × 3"
- Trim a “V” in the bottom
- Layer several across the card
Top with a sentiment label or punched shape.
4. Punch Art with Scraps
Use punches or dies to cut shapes from scraps:
- Flowers

- Hearts

- Circles
- Leaves

Cluster them together for a focal point.
5. Scrap Background
Glue small torn pieces randomly across cardstock for a mosaic background.
Add a bold stamped image over the top.
6. Inside of Cards
Use tiny scraps to decorate:
- inside corners
- envelope flaps
- sentiment layers
It ties the whole card together beautifully.
7. Scrap Strip Bookmark
Glue strips onto cardstock and laminate or cover with clear packing tape.
Punch a hole and add ribbon.
Perfect little gift! 
Tip:
Keep a small container labeled “DSP Scraps” and sort by color family. When you need a quick card, grab coordinating pieces instantly.
