Creating handmade cards using throwing dice can add an exciting element of unpredictability and creativity to your crafting process. By assigning different artistic elements to each face of the dice, you can let the dice roll guide your design choices. This method pushes your creative boundaries and ensures that each card is unique. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started.

First, roll the dice to determine the elements you will include in your card. For instance, you could have five dice, each representing a different aspect of the card: color family, embellishments, type of greeting, layout style, and additional elements.

You don’t have to use all five dice if fewer elements suit your design better. For instance, you might roll for color family (Neutrals), layout style (fun fold), and texture which I use embellishments (sequins). These results will guide you in choosing Neutral colors with a fun fold design adorned with sequins, but you can always adjust based on your artistic intuition.

This method makes the card-creation process more engaging and encourages you to explore combinations you might not have considered otherwise. It keeps your creative juices flowing and ensures that each card you produce is a delightful surprise. So, gather your dice, lay out your crafting supplies, and let the randomness of the roll inspire your next beautifully handmade card.
