Stamp the big Peony on Basic White c/s in Memento ink
Stamp 6 leaves on Old Olive c/s in Old Olive Ink
Peony Die Cuts
• Cut out the Big Peony in Prized Peony Stamp Set
• Take a piece of scrap Petal Pink and cut the four pieces to the Peony
• Cut out the 6 leaves
Horizontal Card:
• Put the card together
o Put the big piece of DSP inside the card
o On the Flap – Layer the small Petal pink c/s and small DSP
• Color the Big Peony with your Stampin Blends. Center the flower on the small Basic White c/s. Stamp your sentiments in Basic Gray ink. Add Dimensionals to your Peony.
• Layer that on the Pink c/s
• Center and adhere the top part of the c/s to the flap. I left out a ½” at both ends.
• Adhered Basic White c/s (that goes inside the card). Line the unglued side to the flap with the peony and sentiment. Close the flap, the Basic White c/s will now be lined up with the Horizontal flap
• Add Wink of Stella to your Peony
• Tie a bow with your ribbon and adhere it to your Flower stem with a glue dot
• Add three rhinestones in the corner
• Viola – you are done!
• Put the card together
o Put the big piece of DSP inside the card
o On the Flap – Layer the small Petal pink c/s and small DSP
• Take your dauber and petal pink ink and brush the edges of all 4 flower pieces.
• Put the 4 Peony pieces together starting with the small flower. I do this by putting the smaller flower into the next bigger template. Remember to line the curves up at the bottom. Add some Tombow glue…just a small amount! Continue to build the Peony. Adhere to leaves to the flower with glue dots. (TIP – Put glue dots on the front of the leaves to stick to the back of the Peony.)
• Stamp your sentiments in Basic Gray ink towards the end of the c/s.
• Add Dimensionals to your Peony.
• Center the flower towards the top of c/s.
• Add Ribbon below the flower.
• Layer the c/s on Petal Pink c/s
• Center and adhere the top part of the c/s to the flap. I left out a ½” at both ends.
• I adhered to the back of the Basic White c/s (that goes inside the card)
• Line the unglued side to the flap with the peony and sentiment. Close the flap, the Basic White will now be lined up with the Horizontal flap
• Add Wink of Stella around the outside of the flower
• Add three rhinestones to help enhance your flower
• Viola – you are done!
