I found this tutorial in my files and wanted to share it with you. I had to create a couple of different cards using current supplies. I thought it was a good way to use Designer Series Paper (DSP) and show you how easy it is to create a couple of quick cards. Now it's your turn to create cards using this tutorial.
Stampin' Up! Supplies:
- Stamps: Peaceful Moments (151595)
- Inks: Early Espresso (147114)
- Card Stock: Early Espresso (119686), Whisper White (100730), Mint Macaron (138337), Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (152488)
- Accessories: Everyday Label Punch (144668), 1/4" Faux Suede Trim (152472), Stampin' Seal (152813), Glue Dots (103683), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)
Measurements:
- Mint Macaron - Cut 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
- Early Espresso - 3 1/4" x 3 1/2"
- Designer Series Paper - 3" x 3 1/4"
- Whisper White - 4" x 5 1/4" for the inside of the card, scrap piece to punch 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" (roughly)
- Suede Trim - enough to make a small bow
Instructions:
- In Early Espresso ink, stamp "These are the moments we'll look back on with joy" on a piece of Whisper White c/s. Center and punch with the Everyday Label Punch.
- Layer and adhere to the DSP on the Early Espresso c/s. Adhere both the front of the card, entering it at the top and sides.
- Add 4 Stampin Dimensionals to the sentiment and adhere. (slightly overlapping focal point.)
- Tie the bow and adhere to the top or bottom of the sentiment with a glue dot.
- Adhere the 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White to the inside of the card. (stamp as desired)
