I have been thinking about how to let you know that DSP is a wonderful way to create cards. The DSP will give you a little texture to your cards. I like Stampin' Up! because they give you a color palette to choose from - you don't have to think so much about "Does this color match?" All the DSP packages have those colors listed for you and they have a design on each side.
In this card, I have the original side of the plaid in orange and the small red leaf is the other side of the DSP. I used a Gathered Leaves Die on the Night of Navy cardstock. I also used my small leaf from the same die on the other side of the Plaid Tidings DSP. (This was to use as much of the DSP as I could. This is a great way to save paper. If you pulled up the Night of Navy c/s, you would see a hole where I cut out a leaf and the word thanks. I had to be strategic about where I placed them.) I die cut the small leaf in Shaded Spruce c/s. I used the well-written die cuts for the sentiment. I tied a bow with Cinnamon Cider and put on 3 elegant facet gems.
The card went together quickly and I feel it's a wonderful fall card.
Thank you for stopping by.
