I am in love with Butterflies

I have always enjoyed butterflies...they flutter so gracefully and creates happiness when they are around.   I have been on a butterfly kick and I wanted to share some cards with you in the next few days.

I love the rugged look of this card.   The beautiful Parker's Pattern DSP really makes the butterflies pop!

Here is what I did:

  • I placed a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock in the Scallop Square Bigz Clear and ran it through the Big Shot

  • I also took a piece of 4 x 5 1/4" Whisper White cardstock and placed it in the Woodgrain TIEF.   That went through the Big Shot TOO!   (My favorite product from SU!)

  • I placed a 2 x 5 1/4" piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock in the heart Adorning Accent Folder.   You guessed it, I ran it through the Big Shot!

  • I cut Marina Mist at 2 5/8 x 2 5/8"

  • Punched out 4 -   1 1/4" squares

  • I punch 3 Elegant Butterflies fro the Parker's Pattern DSP

  • I punch 3 Bitty Butterflies from Cherry Cobbler, Not Quite Navy, and Early Espresso

  • On the last 1 1/4" square I stamped  "Thank you"  from Blooming with Kindness stamp set

  • I adhered everything together.   The base is Whisper White.

  • When adding the butterflies, I popped them up with Dimensionals, I put the bitty butterflies on with glue dots, and I add Basic Rhinestone Jewels as a finishing touch to the top of each butterfly.
