Simple Stampin’ Up! Card Sketches

Card sketches are an easy way to make polished handmade cards without starting from scratch. A sketch is simply a layout guide that shows where to place layers, patterned paper, sentiments, and embellishments.

For a simple Stampin’ Up! card, begin with a card base, then add one or two coordinating paper layers. Place a focal image—such as a stamped flower, greeting, or die-cut shape—toward the center or slightly off to one side. Finish with a small accent like ribbon, twine, or a few adhesive gems.

The beauty of card sketches is flexibility. Keep the layout the same while changing the colors, stamp sets, and papers for birthdays, thank-yous, holidays, or everyday notes. They make creating quicker, build confidence, and help you use supplies in fresh ways.

I wanted to do the same sketch as last week...in FUN FOLDS! I love looking at a sketch and letting my mind wander into creative ideas!  This is so much fun for me!  Thank you for letting me share them with you...LET'S GET IT!

I am back and ready to create more cards for you!  This week's sketch has been fun, and I am looking forward to creating this card over the next 2 weeks.  This week will be regular cards, and next week will be fancy fold!  I am so excited to share these cards with you!

Sometimes I go rogue.  I like to think outside the box and follow my heart.  I have been dreaming of this card and design for a week.  (My dreams are really active. I get ideas, clues, and imagery of what to create.) This is what my dreams created, and I followed my heart.  I hope you enjoy what I created this week!

Today I decided to do a tutorial on Faux Fractured Cards. I like this technique, and I think you will enjoy creating cards with it!
