I found this sketch from Connie over at Simply Simple Stamping. Connie is a wonderful Demonstrator.  She is so creative and shares all she does!  Thank you, Connie, for the sketch!

Here we are with another Hump Day Sketches!  We are now in July, with the 4th coming this weekend.  I got different sketches for us to use today.  I love Juli from Sunny Day Stamping.  She is an incredible demonstrator and designs wonderful sketches for us to use to create fabulous cards!

I am back to using sketches as "my soul's" way to create cards!  I love that sketches have a way of catching feelings fast.

I have really enjoyed CASing my swaps I have received.  First off, they have been great, and second, I loved the cards I created.  I am so excited to share these cards with others!

In the Stampin' Up! and card-making community, "CASE" is a popular acronym that stands for Copy And Share Everything (or alternatively, Copy And Selectively Edit). It is a recognized and encouraged practice where crafters use existing card designs.  I think it's important to always give credit to the designer. When I stamp, I don't mind if stampers "CASE" me.  I enjoy creating cards for you, and I hope this motivates you to create handmade cards.

When you CASE, there are a few definitions you need to understand:
  • The 100% Copy: Recreating the original card exactly as it was made, using the same colors, stamp sets, and layout.
  • Copy and Share Everything: Recreating a card and sharing your version with the community to inspire others.
  • Copy and Selectively Edit: Using the original card's layout or color scheme but adding your own twist—such as changing the sentiment, swapping the patterned paper, or adding different embellishments.

I have really enjoyed sharing my take on side flaps!  It has been fun, and  I love fun folds!

This is what we are creating today!  Please join me for a Wednesday fun fold!

Fun Folds with Stampin’ Up
Creating greeting cards can be an enjoyable and rewarding hobby, especially when using unique folding techniques to add a special touch. Here, we’ll explore some fun fold techniques, including the intriguing side flaps, all using Stampin’ Up products. These techniques can add a creative flair and surprise element to your card-making projects.

What are Fun Folds?
Fun folds refer to various creative folding techniques used in card making to enhance the design and functionality of a card. Unlike standard cards that simply open from one side, fun fold cards include multiple panels, interactive elements, and interesting shapes that engage the recipient.
