I have been thinking of this video for months.   I am just new to putting together a video, editing, and trying to make it perfect.   This was fun to create.   I used the Have A Hoot Stamp set and the Peek-A-Hoot dies.   The bigger die has 3 tags connected together.   I used the tags as windows to hold three cute Owls!   They were fun to put into the windows and just have some fun before they retire on the 4th of January.  If you want these fabulous Owls, please order them ASAP.

Here is the card we will be making.

Isn't it SWEEEEET!

Enjoy the Video!

Let it SNOW!

by ktstamps, 4:33 PM
Yesterday,  we had the most unusual weather.  It started raining and then it was pouring!  The rain was so hard, fast, and that our gutters couldn't keep up with the amount of rain coming down.   It rained like that for about 3-4 hours and streets were flooded and closed.   The next time I looked out the window it was snowing...OMG, it was awesome.   It snowed for about 3 hours, it was so beautiful and quiet.  Then it STOPPED!   It was so amazing!

I remembered this wonderful card Jenn created.

The snow was gone about an hour after it snowed.   This card reminded me of the weather we just had.

This is what our snowman looked like when I woke up this morning.

Thank you for stopping by!   Happy Holidays!

Love Holiday Cards!!!

by ktstamps, 6:38 PM
Christmas is one of my favorite times...I love the lights, the decorations, the trees, and especially the holiday cards.   As I share these cards with you I do so with love, blessings, and hope that you have a wonderful holiday season.   I know this isn't how we thought we would celebrate and I know that it makes me appreciate how much I enjoy spending time with friends and family.   (I remembered when I was teaching I wished for snow days, power outages...anything to have a day off school.   By the time April hit, I was wishing for in-person school.   I wanted to see my students, colleagues, and knowing it was my last year, I wanted to say goodbye in-person!)   This Christmas season, I have really paid attention to what I love and care about!

I love the beautiful blue and silver card.   It reminds me of snow and blue sky!   I enjoyed this card!

Here is a close up of the center of the poinsettia.   I sprayed a mixture of alcohol and Frost White Shimmer Paint in a Stampin Spritzer all over the card

Happy Holidays!   Thank you for stopping by!

Snow Wonder Bundle

Snow Wonder Bundle

This is a wonderful stamp set and coordinating dies that you will use for years to come.  It is a 7-piece cling stamp set and a 7-piece die set.  The dies cut the wreath, snowman, and trees while the other 4 dies are shapes. These can be used as layers for a great winter theme for many occasions and of course a perfect Christmas theme as well.

This card is my version of a Merry Christmas wish that I will be proud to send out to friends and family.

Materials:
Gold or Crumb Cake CS 5 ½” X 4 ¼”
Early Expresso for the leaves
Gold Glimmer Paper for the berries
Poppy Parade for the mini poinsettia
Whisper White for the stamped snowman
Pool Party for the Stitched circle and the Merry Christmas label
Gilded Gems for the centers of the poinsettia
Ornate Layers Dies (middle frame) to make the frame border using a wood pattern from In Good Taste DSP. (The ornate frame that you are not using can be used for another design)
Snow Wonder Bundle
Stitched Circle Dies
Poinsettia Petals Bundle for the berries and the mini poinsettia
Memento Ink
Poppy Parade Stampin Blends Combo Pack
Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine
Dimensionals

Instructions
I found it much easier and a lot more organized to Die-cut everything out first, especially if you are doing a large number of cards.
  • Prepare the base using the bone folder for scoring.
  • Using the Stampin Cut& Emboss Machine, die-cut the center of the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of In Good Taste DSP.
  • Adhere the frame by using the Ornate Layers Dies on the front of the card.
  • Adhere the stitched circle inside the frame on the right side of the card.
  • Adhere the leaves to the left side of the card inside the frame.
  • The gold berries are the next to be adhered onto the early expresso leaves followed by the three mini poinsettia place on top.  Each poinsettia gets a gilded gem in the center.
  • Stamp the snowman with memento ink and color the scarf with the Poppy Parade Stampin Blends Combo pack.  Glue image to the center of the circle.
  • The sentiment is also inked with the memento pad and adhered using Dimensionals under the circle.
I hope you enjoy making this card as much as I have!
