NO, NOT ANY MOJO!

by ktstamps, 6:33 PM
Today is my first day back from a long break. After the Holidays, I pushed myself to get back into the blog world and it just didn’t work. I got tired, run down, and really-I didn’t have any MOJO! NONE! Nothing inspired me, I’d sit in my room and just read blogs but nothing got me into that creative mood! I did a HORRIBLE 6x6 recipe card and even tried to push if off as someone’s. (OMG! Ladies in the stamp group just looked at it and then at me! OOPS) I realized at that moment…I wanted to take some time to get hungry to stamp again! I wanted to find that LOVE, that CREATIVE juice, that INSPIRATION to be creative and let the light bulb come on when I read others blogs and saw their ideas! (To make it worse…my New Year’s Resolution was to publish 3-4 times a week on my blog! Another big OOPS!)

Well, to make a short story even longer…last night the drive, that deep down feeling came over me. I made three cards for swaps and I think I did a good job. I feel like I am ready to create or CASE others and do it with style and grace! LOL! But, I am looking at blogs and being inspired. I think that is important…I am talking to strangers about my stamping business…I am trying to make classes that I would like to take at a reasonable rate. I am trying to inspire others who visit my blog to say…WELL DONE! Thank you!

So, here are a couple of cards I created. I hope you enjoy them!

I love this card.

I got tagged

by ktstamps, 5:58 PM
I am suppose to tell you 5 things about me that not very many people know. So here goes my some insights into my life.

1. I grew up in Montana but didn't enjoy my time there. I was not into cowboys, rodeo, horses, the open plains...I was very glad to move away and start my life in the city. This feels right.

2. When I was growing up, I had the Honor of being the Honored Queen of the State of Montana. This was through an organization called "Jobs Daughters." I loved being Honored Queen but was quite shocked when I got a call from the Beauty Pageant asking me to run for Miss Montana. My grandmother and mom were so happy and I said NO! This body is not one of a beauty pageant.

3. I love fishing. It is one of the most peaceful hobbies I do! I love to go out and feel the rolls of the water, rush of “FISH ON”, and the gratitude for the food I bring home and eat!

4. I have bungee jumped from a REALLY high bridge in Canada!

5. I climbed Huayna Pichu, the big sister Machu Pichu in Peru.

I think I will tag some more SBC. I'll be checking to see what new things I have learned about you! So...here are the next five names.
1. Vanessa - Mom who scraps
2. Niki - My paper creations
3. Gabby - Confessions of a stamper
4. Lorraine - tavias charms favorite things
5. Gina P - Gina P Crafts

You have the right to reserve using your most precious supplies on cards only for recipients who will truly appreciate them.

You have the right to a workspace of your own. This may be the basement, your college student’s old bedroom, or the kitchen table.

I got my banner up!

by ktstamps, 3:44 PM
Again, I want to thank Donna for making my banner. I am hoping I will get a tutorial on how easy it is for her. I just pick the picture and ask her to help. I would like to see her charge for this service...she is also really good with watermarks! Thank you Donna! I love you! kt
